I was just diagnosed with rapid-cycling
bipolar-disorder the other day. (i changed
doctors and am looking for a new
therapist) i'm now taking symbyax.
Anyways, I was wondering if this is
considered a hallucination...
When I am alone in my house I talk to
people that arent there. Usually they are
people that I know in my social circle. I
will actually talk like i'm having a
normal convo and answer questions and
stuff. It's kind of like Tom Hanks with
the volleyball Wilson on Castaway. I've
done this since high school. It's like
when i'm alone doing things my house is
filled with people and I talk to them. I
never do this with people around as I know
this probably makes me look insane. I
arrange scenarios like for instance, If I
like a guy I will pretend he is there
talking. Or, I will pretend i'm rich. And
sometimes I just rant and rave out loud
about things. Is this a symptom of bipolar
disorder or is this something else? Would
you consider me talking to people that
aren't there hallucinating? Does anyone
else do this?
