Do you Always got your period while on sugar pills?

I've been on reclipsen for about two months now. Im currently on my second pack and started taking the sugar pills two days ago and still haven't gotten my period. Is this normal? Are you always supposed to get your period when on the sugar pills?

The pill can make your periods very light and very short, or even totally absent. What you experience when you are on the pill is not menstruation, but withdrawal bleeding when the pill hormones in your body drops below a certain point.

It is also not true that you will bleed from day 1 to day 7. Your period may only be a few days, and start right at the end of the week.

If you do not bleed in the next 12 days, tell your doctor and take a pregnancy test for just in case. More often than not, it is not a problem.
