My girlfriend just notice that she has white spots on her nipples she is late on her period. she has all the signs of pregnancy. breast are sensitive and darkening. back and forth to the bathroom. we took a home test, but I think a expensive one would have been better than the cheap off brand ones at least I think so. what are the white spots? any information would be helpful to us.

Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. These white areas on the nipples are common during early pregnancy. These are known as Montgomery’s tubercles. These are one of the early signs of pregnancy. These definitely are not a cause of concern as they are a part of normal physiological changes. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
