Not usually. The uterus is deep within the pelvis and does not come out of the pelvis until later in pregnancy. The embryo is very tiny for the first couple of months, not even making the uterus any larger than normal.

So, swelling above the naval is probably not a sign of early pregnancy.

If you think you might be pregnant, do a pregnancy test.
