Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I am really glad to help you out.

If there’s no fever, no local tenderness and the scar has healed well, then I suppose there isn’t anything much to worry. The small bump which he can feel will gradually go away.

This develops due to the local oozing of the fluids from the damaged blood vessels and this fluid gets absorbed and there’s nothing to worry about the same. I sincerely hope this helps. Take care.

Hi,

I undergone an Appendix Surgery about a month ago and i still have those little bumps under 2 of my 3 scars. Under the 3rd scar (which is the lowest one) there is what seems to be a grape shaped bump which is now visible. The pains in the 3rd scar are pretty bad and I am still forced to take strong pain killers as I do feel pain when I walk and sit for a period of more then 30Min. The Dr who did the surgery said everything is fine and this is what I should feel, however when I went to my family Dr he said that I have an infection. I now scheduled another appointment to a 3rd Dr to get another opinion since I keep hearing different things and the antibiotics didn't help. Can you tell me what to expect or what it could be?
