Q: Appendix removed

Hi there..
I had my appendix removed with an emergency surgery 3 days ago, I was experiencing horrible pains and was rushed to the hospital. The surgery was fast and only lasted about 15 minutes, and I stayed in the hospital for 2 days.
I am in severe pain and have had diareah everyday since the surgery, every 5 minutes or so, and can not get in a full nights rest. I find myself pushing in and holding the wound to use the washroom either to urine or have a bowl movement and am sometimes yelling out in pain..and can hear bodily functions running loudly through my abdominal area.
I have had a fever and can not stomach any food as it wont stay in very long.
My body feels very week and sore.
The doctor on call at the hospital while I was staying there was not able to diagnose the trigger to the diareah, but only did one stool sample and sent me on my way home to recover.
The pain seems to be getting worse and I am wondering if it was maybe something else instead of inflamed appendix...something that they are missing and I could possibly ask them to look into tomorrow ?
Thanks so much for your help in advance.
