Im 16 and for the past few days ive been home alone just with my mom because my dads been busy. Today i was up in my room listening to music when i heard my mom screaming my name when i got downstairs she was nearly crying and was even on the floor. She said that she had fainted luckily on the couch and that she had very awful pain in her abdominal. She felt nausted and was in so much pain that i got really scared. Ive never seen her like that so i said i was going to call the amublance but she was saying no. Shes lying in bed now but she looks so awful and says the pain keeps coming and that she feels so faint. I was wondering cause i read about this appendictis is this what she might have? The symptoms are all the same. I dont know what i should do next.

I hope she visited her physician already.
There is a short time interval between onset of appendicitis symptoms and rupture of appendix, that is usually 24 to 48 hours.
Rupture of appendix is serious condition.
