Appendicitis while pregnant ?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!
For one week now I have been having lower right abdominal pain. I have neasua,vomiting,diarrhea and loss off appetite. The pain also feels like it is searing through to my back and radiates down into my groin. I had a CT a week ago which was normal. My bloodwork was fine and had an ultrasound which showed nothing. I know that it isn't a gyn issue as the pain is not in my pelvis and my dr ruled out any gyn issues. I have had IBS for 12 years and I know this is not just a flare. I was at the ER on Friday and seen by a surgeon. After pressing on my abdomen(which was very painful and made me vomit) he said he wanted me to spend the night to see if it gets worse,but I decided to go home since I have 2 young children. The pain is the same as it was as are all the other symptoms. I am a 26 yr old female and 7 weeks pregnant with a normal(uterine) pregnancy.

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

The presence of diarrhea along with abdominal pain could be due to enteritis or colitis. Since the blood tests as well as the CT and ultrasound are normal, conditions like appendicitis have been ruled out.

You can consult with your doctor, who can prescribe you a course of antibiotics. In addition, taking probiotic supplements will also be helpful to relieve your symptoms.

Ive seen all my drs and none of them have helped me. Im going on 10 days straight diarrhea and its getting to be ridiculous...I also know that my mother had appendicitis for months before they found it as have numerous other people I have talked to. I know its not common but definitely not unheard of..I think me being pregnant is complicating a diagnosis and Im sick of being sick
