I have been suffering from acne problems and sometimes they really get worse. I have tried many of the anti-acne products available but I am not satisfied with them as I feel that the results they give are just a matter of time. Can anyone suggest me a good remedy for this?

well, I had severe acne since i was in grade 3, because both parents and other relitives had severe acne. I went to my doc and he gave me benzamycin, it owrked for a year, but I became resestant to it, and it did not work 100 percent anyway. So a month ago my doc gave me dalacin-t and i am clear now!! it is amazing!!!!
u need to try it!

at home:

oily skin:
-a mix of mashed cucmber, brown sugar (optional) use as a mask or scrub.
- hot - warm water with lemon juice, place on cloth and blot on face. *( also reduces redness)*

normal acne:
- any kind of mask with apples, oatmeal, cucumber, or avacado works fantastic!
- tea tree oil is fantastic too.
- toothpaste on the acne overnight works wee, only use the paste, not the gel.
- baking soda and water to form a paste works well tooo and it drys fast too.

Do not pick at it, it might scar if u do!!

if you wanna try a product without a prescription, try clean and clear, thay have a wide veriety to choose from and they work well.

accually, yoga and other stress relievers have been proven to help decress acne! this is because they decress bad hormones in your body as well as calm you down after a stressfull day at work, which can also increase acne.

There is a rumour about food causing acne, but this is not true! sure, if all you eat is tons of greesy fries, it my slightly sffect your skin, but dont listen to othat rumour!!

drink alot of water 6-8 glasses will help to flush out bad things in your body, including sebum, the cause of acne.

I really really hope this helps!!

There is Accutane, a very strong prescription drug, that cures any form of acne including the difficult to treat variety of cystic acne. Accutane has several risks associated with it, but it does WORK. If you have never been to a doctor for your acne issues yet, then they will first try several different topical treatments, which consist of a variety of face washes. If that doesn't work, they may move on to several kinds of internal medicines. I've been on a variety of penicillin for my cystic acne when I was in 7th grade. I was on a different kind my junior year of highschool.

An option for females is to get on birth control, which often has the effect of reducing acne by controlling hormone levels.

If none of the topical treatments, in combination with the internal medicines, cure the acne, then Accutaine is your last chance.
