I suffer from anxiety and panic disorders. Just recently I found where Paxil is good for not only depression but also anxiety. Does anyone know if this is true?

Paxil is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI). SSRI's are frequently used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. You can speak with your doctor to find out whether an SSRI, such as Paxil, would be a good treatment of choice for you.
