Hey Dave,

I don't know if you have an active stress relief program going on in your life but it sounds like that could really help you. What do you do to relieve stress? What calms your body and your mind?

I think that finding things/activities to calm your mind and body are very necessary here. Do you have a healthy and safe avenue to relieve your stress and negative emotions?

Deep breathing exercises could really support your stress levels. I like to do at least one deep breathing exercise daily for about 20-30minutes where I limit my mind activity and simply focus on breathing in and out deeply. You'd be surprised what that can do for your mind and emotions.

Do you have someone to talk to regarding your anger? It sounds like you could use someone in your life who can brainstorm proactive ways to move you past the anger.

I hope that helps some,

Hi Dave,
Have you tried cbt? It is remarkable for slowing your mind down and teaching you how to learn to live in the present and retrain your brain to reduce anxiety if you work on the exercises. If you don't want to see a therapist pick up a copy of been there, done that? Do this! By sam obitz and start doing the tea form exercise in it. We used this book in my cbt group. Take care and know you can get better if you work on the cbt exercises. The more you work on the exercises the more relief you get. Good luck!

Anxiety medication

Anxiety medication helps reduce the symptoms of anxiety. They do not completely cure anxiety and every person responds individually to the medication.

I feel horrible and stressed and couldn't sleep peacefully and the heart keeps pounding, all the time. It also makes me lose focus and I can only frown all the time. I didn't have that for about 5 years, and now it comes back.

I am avoiding anti-depression medicines as I read about their side-effects.

The breathing exercises really help. Thank you.

If there is a way to get rid of this permanently I would be glad to know.
