hi,

i've had a rough life (not going to go extremely into details) but basically abused in foster care until age 18, lost my birth mother not long before my 19th birthday and have a lot of stress in my life that is related to where i live (im actually on the verge of homelessness). I have never taken drugs i dont smoke and i have never been drunk.

my problems are as follows:

i have 4 anxiety attacks a day
i cannot sleep
i have nightmares at least every second night
im scared of the dark
i have no confidence
i'm overweight and cant control it
i have diarrohea regularly
i hate going out in public (weight issues and also IBS)
im depressed constantly
im often grumpy
i have abandonment issues
im worried people are talking about me and dont like me even if they say they do
i have no sex drive at all which upsets my partner
acid reflux

im not sure what to do about any of my issues and just want to know if there is someone i can talk too. i have seen councellors and they just pass me off to someone else as "it is a very complicated issue that is out of my expertise" or something like that. im scared that i wont be about to live my life if i cant stop these issues. my mum has Post traumatic stress disorder and i believe she may have triggered my feelings. she was also agoraphobic and im scared im getting like that. please help me!

There is hope especially for you
You have been through a lot at such a young age. Although you've suffered a lot, you've come through a lot. Please do not accept the notion that what you are experiencing is beyond help, simply because you have crossed paths with those who for one reason or another are unable to help you.

Finding freedom begins with you. Answer this question-Do you want to be free? Because if you really want to you can be completely free. A lot of what is taking place in your health, is the stress of carrying the heavy burden of your past. Do you want to be free?
You can be if you really want to be.

Next question-Do you know who Jesus is? He is God's remedy for all of life's problems. God knows more about you than you do, and He cares for you. He loves you, He's waiting for you to turn your life to Him. Cast all of your cares on Him because He cares for you. The power of God can do for you what no other can do.

Begin to call on God through prayer, Ask Jesus to come into to you heart through faith. He died on the cross to rescue us from sin and the weight of life, and He rose from the dead so that those who believe can have victory.

Jesus loves you so much, and believe it or not, you have a purpose in life. If you let the power of God work in you life through faith, Jesus will lift that heavy weight off you, heal your body, and then use you to witness of His delivering power to others.
