Q: Anxiety disorder symptoms

i have recently started having painful electric shocks all through my body when i am sleeping. this wakes me up, and is very sore.

can anyone tell me what these might be, and what might be causing them.

Your strange symptoms (painful electrical shocks all through your body) could be due to an anxiety disorder. Conditions like depression and IBS from the list of pre-existing conditions confirm that possibility. There is no organic disorder that can cause such “painful electrical shocks all through your body”. Some anxiety disorders can be manifested with strange symptoms or can imitate the symptoms of real organic disorders.
