First i wanna say i have not been working for a year i dont have any financial problems as im staying w ith family , i am 25 , i quit smoking about a year and half ago. I do smoke marijuana when i have pain , etc and i drink here and there. I dont know if this has to do with not working but lately within the last year i have been thinking that im going to just keel over and die for no reason , i had a friend die from a brain anurism when she was in labor , she did smoke a nd was a bit over weight and im sure she had other health problems. But I just keep having little axiety type attacks where i feel alone , i think im gonna die , i dont really want to sleep when i gotta go to bed cause im afraid i wont wake up. I have been put on prozac in the past for depression but i feel that if i know i have a problem being unhappy i know that i can fix it and i dont need meds. But i guessi just need to know if i should see a doctor or just hold out until the end of summer (when im going to get a job ) either way i feel like crap and i try realy hard to do other things but i always wind back down to thinking about dying.. i would just like some reassurance.

Thanks

I think your fear of dying is unrealistic. I think you should see a doctor. Maybe he can put you on a different medication, or maybe you could take something for the panic attacks. You might start to get better, so it would be good for you to check into that.

try it
I think when we're down we wanna die, It's the easy way out. We don't want to die of course but we feel like something is wrong with us, so maybe we're dying. It feels easier to give up but we're too smart for such thoughts, so we feel depressed about our thoughts.

I've been researching how to fix depression and they say:
exercise, I use to walk everyday for 30mins not for health but because it made me happy before starting work. I stopped 5 years ago because I meet my husband who is anti-exercise. I've been down for about 4 years. So I've had a light bulb moment. Start walking again.

I've done my research and we need to:
-exercise each mday (the sun is good for depression also - vitamin D)
- Eat: fruit for snacks
- stop coffee replace with green tea (that will be hard for me)
- put more chillies, oily fish, bannas and green veges in our meals
- drink more water

and if that doesn't help try accupturne and st johns wort.

Try it with me. They aren't big changes.
