I am taking approvel 150mg for 5 years, and was kinda anxious person, i am specialy paranoid about my health, i am 33, 192 pounds, 5 feet 7 inches tall , obese and live a life with limited exercise for the past 2 years . I just had my bloodwork when i felt some pain on my pectoral muscle , which i associate with my heart , my result are basically normal, trygly 130, hdl 48, ldl 111, total cholesterol 185. Then i went to a new cardiologist refered to by a friend, got my normal Ekg procedure, it came out normal, was very surprised when my blood pressure was taken it was 140/90....and i am taking meds and it register this high???? i become more anxious, the doctor ordered me for battery of tests?? is this normal? abdomen ultrasound? stress test? chest x ray??? am i this serious to be put into these test? my cardiologist ordered me not to exercise due elevated blood pressure, is my case this serious, right now i am more anxious than before??? please help.
