What is the connection between the anxiety and the stomach pain. I have noticed that sometimes when I am nervous I have stomach pain and a lot of gasses.

Anxiety and Stress Answer A6693
I came across a situation years ago when children experienced significant abdominal pain (like an abdominal migraine) - due to anxiety. It doesn't surprise me that we have a physical response to what our mind is telling us. If you are suffering from intense anxiety as well as a physical response the answer is to deal with and resolve the anxiety. Consult a professional to help you identify the source of your anxiety and to learn ways to deal with the destructive self-talk that usually accompanies anxiety and stress.
Best wishes
