Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. From the description of the symptoms which you have given thereâs a high possibility of you being under a lot of stress & anxiety resulting in the irregularity of periods. However, other causes of the same also need to be looked into. Other causes which need to be looked into are fluctuation in hormone levels, hypothyroidism & fibroid in the uterus. It could also be due to a genital infection or cervical polyps. PCOD is one important entity which can cause such symptoms. For that you need to consult a gynecologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
