Q: anxiety and muscle shaking

How is everyone? I am a 23 year old girl who suffers from extreme worry and stress. Ive experienced the entire panic attack thing but this is something different I have been experiencing. My muscles keep "adjusting" and shake all over my body every few minutes. It is always worse at night time and at night I almost convince myself they are seizures but I am fully aware of how I feel. Also my muscles and nerves inside my body shake. Its so strange. Ive been to the hospital for this and they ask me if I am stressed. I am going to a neurologist next week but curious if anyone has experienced this before? Sometimes my actual limb jerks. I am convinced I have a brain tumor, MS, or epilepsy or something. I worry 24/7. why do I feel this way?

I have had this many times
yes it is very scary, but it is due to extreme anxiety and maybe some depression. I thought I was dying of MLS and my doctor ordered an EMG. Nothing was found. Remember. Twitching with an absence of weakness is probably nothing to worry about. If there is weakness involved, then you need to get it checked out.

But I think you are going to be OK. I had everything you had and then some. Eye twitch, legs, back, stomach, fingers. Sometimes my whole body would convulse. That was six years ago. I am having a slight anxiety problem at the present and some of these symptoms are back, but not as bad. But for 6 years all was well. Stress from work and a bad neck brought back my anxiety and depression.

You keep your spirits up and say a prayer or two.

Weakness
You wouldn't be able to use that muscle group at all. Your arm would twitch and you would have no ability to use it. Or it would slowly grow weaker and weaker until you couldn't use it. Right now my stomach area is twitching and my stomach is very sore. I have lost weight, a bit of my appetite and I have had numerous panic attacks lately. But I will kick this anxiety and worry. I won't let it get me!
