anxiety after reaction
Posted: 05-09-08 05:16am

Two months ago i had horrible reaction my legal weightlifting supplements. My heart rate got dangerously high as well as my blood pressure. I was taken out of the gym by ambulance anf the paramedics were concerned with me having a stroke. ever since that day i have had horrible bouts of anxiety. I am on disability from my job, i can no longer work out, and i pretty much cant do anything without having panic attacks for no apparent reason. I am not anxious or nervous about anything. i have no answer. I have had ever medical test done and there is nothing wrong with me. help!

Well, I found out through your other posts and the message you sent me that it was NO2 and No-Xplode mixture?

What exactly did your doctor say? Go ask him/her if you can do any exercises, even light at the moment. I'm anticipating they would say it isn't safe for you for the moment, so if they say no, ask them why exactly, what are the consequences and how long will it be before you can start working out.

I have little clue with what you meant by "anxiety". Are you just randomly jittery or what? When are you getting these anxiety attacks.

Obviously, for the moment, stay off the supplements, and stay off anything that can alter your heart rate such as energy drinks, coffee, etc. You should give your body the time to start relying on itself for higher stress levels of work instead of caffeinated products and the like.

yeah i get random fits of anxiety for no reason....tension headaches, palpitations, shortness of breath. i have had nurmerous tests done and they cant find anything physicaly wrong with me. my doc said that i had prob. always had anxiety but my body was able to deal with it in other ways. i am not buying that figuring prior to me going to the ER for the supplement overdose i had never had this type of problem.

Make your own post in a concise descriptive manner in the appropriate forum please, instead of commenting on somebody else's post. Your chances of getting a response from doing that will be greatly increased.
