Hi there.

I have been having problems for about 6 months now but im really embarrassed and would prefer not to go to the doctor.

Firstly it started off when I made a poo, it was really sore. Sometimes it would leave a small trace of blood on the paper.

Recently it has turned a bit worse. The whole area around my anus is very sensitive and itchy. Whenever water touches it, it stings. It also lets off a thin layer of liquid that just sits on the surface. It looks like water, but it leaves sort of white stains on my undies and also sometimes a bit brown.

I did have an operationwhen i was younger where they made an incision between the anus and the bottom of the scrotum, I originally thought that it might have been the scar splitting. But hemroids has also crossed my mind.

If anyone could give any sort of advice that I could domyself without having to see a doctor that would be extremely helpful.

Thanks
Rick

Sounds to me like you have a case of hemorrhoids. Best to see your doc though, just to be sure there is nothing else that may be causing it. If you don't want to see your doc, try preparation H or some other anti-hemorrhoid medicine. If that works, no need to see the doc. If it does not, time to make an appointment.
