double opening in anus

Is it abnormal for the anal opening to look like it has two holes? I saw some other threads about holes ABOVE the anus, but this is the actual opening itself. Here's a very crude drawing of what I describe below: http://img22 3.imageshack.us/img223/9594/buttyh7.jpg

Just looking at it relaxed it looks "normal." But if I push just a very little there is the normal hole, but also just above that normal opening, and 1/3 to 1/2 the size, there is a second opening as well. I assure you it's its own opening, though I don't know how deep it is as I've never... checked.

Some back story. I do have an abnormally small opening caused by tight sphincter muscles and have to watch my diet because of it. I've been to the proctologist plenty of times and he's never commented about it and I just recently noticed it myself - as in, I never looked before, not that it is a new appearance.

Could it be caused by my tight muscles down there? Could it maybe be part of the real opening? I mean, if it was combined with the other opening I doubt I'd be having the issues I do since it'd probably be normal sized then.

Anyway, if anyone has heard of anything like this any info would be appreciated. I couldn't find anything at all about others have similar issues, and any pictures I found on the net definitely don't have the same extra opening.

-- If it matters, I haven't always had the rectal troubles I do now. It started when I was around 16 years and I've just been living with it for many years.

I havent actually seen anyone like that bro but i was a bit scared that u said the proctologist hasnt commented or why u have not asked about it? I think it would be a good think to ask, i know it may be embarassing or humiliating even but i think it would be good to find out just for your own basic knowledge of your own body Smile Even if u dont ask the specialist maybe asking your GP (General Practioner) might be able to help u answer your questions.

Not much of a help i know but i hope it has helped a bit Razz

I haven't asked because I haven't had a need to go back to any doctor since I've noticed it. For some reason I'm doubting that it has spontaneously generated and it's just something that I've always had, but there have been multiple doctors poking and prodding that region for years and not a peep about it. So I guess either it's not something rare, or it's new. However, I couldn't find anything about it on the net - but that could easily be because of my keywords.

I'm not overly concerned about it and will bring it up on my next visit, I was just curious if -anyone- has ever heard of such a thing before, or have it themselves. But most people probably never had a need/desire to take a look Laughing

Yeah i have no idea what you'd type in wikipedia to ask about it either, but i guess if u have had doctors and stuff looking at it over a peirod of time and they have never noticed it either there is nothing wrong or its nothing to worry about, But its good to see that u pay attention to your body and stuff as u said alot of people probably do not have the attentiveness to care about things like that,

Good luck with it bro,

If u ever wanna tlk about it or tell me what u find out please pm me anytime Smile
