antiphospholipid syndrome

I have recently been diagnosed as having antiphospholipid syndrome through strongly positive bloodwork. I have no symptoms, no blood clots, no miscarriages. I'm 50 years old and on low dose hormone replacement which my doctor advises me to stop taking. It's my only risk factor, I'm not overweight, I don't smoke, don't take long plane trips. I'm in menopause and feel better on hormone replacement and was going to ask my ob/gyn for a higher dosage, this lower one is not working as well as it used to. Am I asking for a blood clot if I continue on with hormone replacement?
