Q: Antidepressants and cannibis ?

My husband has been in depression for about a year now an hes taking antidepressants,)efexor) I recently realised hes also using cannibis whilst taking antidepressants, I need to know if the antidepressants will still work while hes using cannibis an also need to know what harm hes doing while doing this is it safe? an what are the side affects from doing this.. Thankyou Jewels...

The cannibis can interact with the medication and make it less effective. It might even help cause more depression for him. I think he should get off the drugs because it will do more harm then good. Good luck.

Thankyou for your reply an I wish it was as simple I guess to be able to stop the cannibis I know thats what he should be doing that but how do you stop an addict in the first place, I guess I wish I knew the outcome more so to prepare myself,, Jewels
