Q: Antidepressant with Provigil ?

I suffer from anxiety & panic attacks, depression, and adhd( never been treated for adhd)I just lose my close sister. My doctor has me on Impramine, clonzepam, and recently Provigil (Which is great but expensive.) My question is what is the best antidepressant to take w/ Provigil and is there something similar to Provigil that's not expensive? My Pharmacy suggested Adderal but I need something to give me energy all day because I don't have any. I am on 200mg Provigil but I think I need more because it wears off in the afternoon. Since my sister just passed away Jan.13,2009 my depression and lack of energy have gotten worse. PLEASE HELP ME!

One of Provigil side effects has been reported to be: depression and possible suicide thoughts. I've been taking Provigil for several years with no problem and I also took it with Zyprexa (antidepressent)...Provigil for excessive daytime sleepiness and Zyprexa to help me sleep.

I quit Zyprexa in May.

When I say no problem...means I haven't done anything drastic...every now and then I get a little depressed however it does not last too long...mostly in the winter months and when my hormones get out of balance.

You may want to ask your doctor and / or pharmacist about this.
