Hi I just joined this board. I found it from googling my problem. I've been on the pill for about 4 and a half years. The past three weeks I've been more stressed than ever, with bills, being in my last semester of college, homework, presentations, work, family committments (weddings, showers, etc), I'm just stressed. I also was on antibiotics for the last 10 days of my pills because of a sinus infection. I've been on antibiotics before (not this kind, but others) and it has never affected my period. I always start my period like clockwork, but now I'm a day late. My boyfriend and I always have protected sex, and I never missed a pill. My period is a day late so far, but I'm freaking out because I'm so regular on them. Could there be a possibility that I'm pregnant? This has never happened before. Thank you.

your period is probably late because you are so stressed out, or it could be caused from something else, it could be the antibiotics too. if you and your bf always use condoms and you take you rpill (which would have been ineffective with your antibiotics) you shouldn't be pregnant. Try not worrying about it (i know its hard) but it might make your period come. If it would make you feel better, too, you can always take a pregnancy test just to make sure, if your period is late it would show a positive now if you realy were pregnant.
