Q: Antibiotics for facial acne ?

Hello. My doctor advised me to take antibiotics to get rid of my facial acne. I’m skeptical about that but I’ll try it anyway. My question is if it will get rid of the acne, is there a possibility of them coming back after taking the antibiotics? Thanks.

You bet they will come back. If you want to really get rid of the acne, get a good diet, drink a lot of water, get enough sleep, wash your face regularly, apply acne gels (I use cleocin-t). These are pretty much simple ways of getting rid of or avoiding acne. The facial wash and acne gels are available on almost any
pharmacy or skin care stores out there. Talk to a dermatologist for further help.

Okay! I had acne too myself! And i know EXCACTLY how you feel! First what you need to do is get a Dermatologist. Then ask him/her about acutane. This is the only proven antibiotic than can clear any type of acne on any part of your body and keep it clear for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!!! Im on it right know and its working great! But it does have some side effects such as-- you should not get pregnant because it can cause serious birth defects andother minor effect! Ask your doctor!!
