i am 16 years young and my psychologist referred me to take anti depressants. im all for the idea but my father has issues with them. he refuses for me to take them because of religious reasons.
i feel lost. i dont know how i should feel about his decision. my father and i do not have the best relationship and i feel like i hate him more.
Having someone to talk about this other than my psycologist and my mother who obeys my fathers every wish would be nice.

I take anti depressants, if I didn’t take them I thing I would loose my mind. I was married to a man who thought I did not need them, and that I should be able to control my depression. I guess if you never suffered from it, you feel like everyone that does can make it go away. It doesn’t work like that, does it? I wish I could help you, just keep talking to you father, or maybe get your doctor to talk to him. I hope everything works out for you sweetie.
