Is taking anti-depressants during pregnancy harmful to a fetus? Are there any studies on Lexapro and its effects on a fetus?

I don't know if there are studies on Lexapro and the fetus...but I know what HELL I went through NOT being pregnant coming off it that I wouldn't wish on ANYONE. If you know you are pregnant, I would NOT recommend taking Lexapro while pregnant. Find a different med. There are others out there that supposedly are safe (or at least safer) during pregnancy if you have to take meds for depression while pregnant (which some people do.) Good luck finding what works for you. But I HIGHLY suggest staying away from Lexapro. I was on the SMALLEST dose possible and had a HORRIBLE time coming off it!
