My partner's daugher (21 y.o.) is anorexic. She started Uni in Sept. Before going she saw her local doc who recommended counselling. He asked her to see a doctor as soon as she went to Uni (3 hours from home). She says she goes every week but I don't think she does(she was meant to go for blood test with first doc but she never went). I think that her weight is about 40kg and she cannot eat in front of people anymore. She is regularly sick for a few days (cannot keep the little food she eats). Her background: her mum died when she was about 10. Her dad did not cope well with it and was not there enough for her. She is closer to her dad now. I first met her 3 years ago. She was self harming and already had eating disorder. All that matters to her is her boyfriend and she doesn't have any girlfriend. In the 3 years I have been in the house, she has only brought a friend once. She spent the whole summer at her boyfriend's and that made it worse. What can we do so far away please? Thank you.
