Well, it's getting to be that time for me...
Ray and I are celebrating our first anniversary together! party party party party party party party party party party party

I just wanted to run a couple ideas across a few of the members here (I know Homer is going to love chiming in on this! giggle giggle )

First idea: Taking him out to a nice dinner (nothing too fancy, but nothing too cheap, either). Bottle of wine and having a quiet evening together, just the two of us.

Second idea (and I'm personally really liking this one): Doing something fun! I'm thinking about giving him $50, and we spend a few hours at the Casino, then dinner somewhere (a health forum than the first idea), and then who knows after that (most likely a quiet evening of being together).

Both ideas will be met with a dozen roses and a nice card. Either way, I'm planning on doing quite a bit for him, and to show him a big, heartfelt thank you for a wonderful year of togetherness. I never thought I would love someone as much as I do now, and I want to show my appreciation for him and everything he has done for me in the past year.

So what do you guys think?

Thanks homer!! Smile

I debated about just staying home and cooking dinner for him. But really, this is the first time I have ever actually been involved with someone for this length of time, and I know Ray is the type that wouldn't want to sit home anyway.

I figure, since I'll easily have the dough to splurge a bit, might as well do something very enjoyable.

Extremely eHealthy
I say Casino, it sounds like a blast just another idea if you ever change your mind is a 2-4hrs boat cruise. Just don't spend too much at the Casino bring a set amount or something but have fun and you sound like a sweetheart~!

We're only going to spend like $50 apiece on the slots, I think Laughing

I thought about a cruise... however, it's quite cold out here, maybe if we need a getaway this summer we'll do that.

And thanks!! Wink

Well, we hit the casino the weekend before last, I gave him $50 as part of the anniversary present... I'm still considering doing something on the 21st for him anyways, since he has proven to be very special to me in a recent tough time I went through.

I won $0, he won $70 though Laughing

And unfortunately he has to work on Saturday (BOOOOOOOOO to his manager!!!!), but I'll still be with him this weekend, and we plan to do the V-day thing Very Happy
