Back pain symptoms may seem obvious. But do you know when symptoms of back pain are more serious or when to see a doctor? Learn what action to take & when...
My boyfriend suffers from Ankylosing Spondlyitis as well as Scheurmann`s Disease. He currently doesn`t take any medication for treatment, though will be starting Humira fairly soon (hopefully) for the AS. Also, he has some other disease making him more or less immune to anti-inflammatories..(yes, my boyfriend is the picture of good health...haha)

Lately he`s developed severe muscle spasms (from the AS we`re assuming) and has tried muscle relaxants, anti-spasmodics, Emtec-30`s, Percocets and Morphine to deal with the pain. Nothing really seems to be working. He can barely breathe in without a spasm, has a hard time walking because of the pain and when a bad spasm hits, he just collapses. We`re unsure as to how to deal with this pain. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for anything you guys have to offer.

there are new and effective treatments for Ankylosing Spondylitis in the form of drugs that are used to treat cancer with few serious side effects or so i am told try googling," Ankylosing Spondylitis anti-TNF drugs", make sure the spelling is correct it may be hard to get this treatment because it is new and expensive

good luck
