Hello,

I've got angiomyolipoma kidney - 5.2 on a right kidney and 3 mm on a left. Non cancer. Is there any evidence at all that a Chinese medicine can help in it. I was proposed to go to China, Beijing, Tibet center and to go through 2 weeks treatment and then to be on chinese tablets for 1 year or so... Is it something to be considering...? Or just run away straight to the surgeon. They obviously want to operate the right one. But the Chinese doctor says that if I do so, chinese medicine not gonna work after that because the whole body structure will be destroyed...

im confused on why they want to operate on something so small. mine is 20cm

do you have a lot of discomfort with your angiomyolipoma? I get seriously sore at times and very uncomfortable - I'm generally very fit and enjoy running, completing 4 marathons over the last few year, now I just can't run or exercise! Hate this feeling, but its not just in my head!

Oh, my gosh, how big is your lipoma? Mine only 4.5 and 3 mm on another, so I guess it's not that bad... Anyway, I always had one of them and never had any problems, but when I discovered that it has grown plus I got the second one... I just got so angry with life and universe... and from now on I was in pain every day. I don't know if it was just in my head, but as soon as got busy with other problems - my pain is almost gone. I do get some of it now and then, but not every day. Plus I'm jogging once or twice a week and so far so good.
