Hello and thanks for posting your medical question on eHealthForum.

It would be beneficial to consult with a psychologist or psychiatrist to discuss your mood swings and occasional paranoia. A qualified mental health professional will consider the many factors including your history of sleep, appetite, and the functioning of your regular activities.

The presence of severe mood swings may indicate a number of disorders, including thought processing disorders or bipolar disorder. It is impossible to diagnose this on this forum, but a discussion with your physician or a therapist would be beneficial.

Physical issues such as an imbalance in hormonal levels may also contribute to your symptoms. A chemical imbalance may be treated with some excellent medications available for prescribing by your physician.

I would recommend visiting a psychiatrist to consider these possibilities.

I hope this helps.
