Q: anesthesia not applied during myelogram ?

What are the symptoms of a person whose anesthesia may not have been applied prior to a myelogram and what are the consequences of same?

My mother had a myelogram done last year and she believes that she may not have had any anesthetic because she felt the entire procedure. It is said that local anesthesia allows you to stay conscious but feel no pain and for her it was the opposite. She felt the entire procedure but was paralyzed and unable to ask for help as she felt the entire thing.

I would like someone to help me on this.

i've heard of this
i can't remember the name of it but it's for when the patient can't have a full anaesthetic. it's supposed to numb the area but doesn't work on quite a few people. they stopped using it late last year i think.
