I've had my blood tested at least three times for Anemia.
The first time was positive. My Iron was way below the average.
The second time was a little below average and the third time, My Iron was fine.
But I'm always tired. Still. The first time I was tested for Anemia, I was given slow release Iron tablets.
I took them for a while but stopped, for unknown reasons. I was young, naive.
Now, I'm not on any medication for low Iron and I've recently had my blood tested again and it was negative for any abnormalities.
I don't know what else it could be.
Maybe Diabeties. Severe fatigue and a dieing for something to drink almost constantly.
My uncle has Diabetes. High blood pressure and heart disease also runs in my family.
The only way I can really describe my symptoms are, extreme fatigue. Sometimes over a constant period of time. Then sometimes I can have energy then lose it almost immediantly. And almost every morning, I wake up after about 8 or 9 hours of sleep and still, I feel tired and drained of energy.
Also, my mom has hyperthyroidism and I don't know if that might have something to do with me and maybe I am developing it.
I've been tested for it before yet it was negative.
Dunno what to do..

I'd go back to my doctor and ask to be tested for diabetes, however the likelyhood of it just coming out of nowhere puzzles me. But then again, stranger things have happened. Also, take iron pills. Just to see if you gain back some energy. You can be within the low normal range for anemia and still have anemia. I was and still am iron deficient anemic. I take prenatal vitamins because of the added benefit for my hair and nails plus it contains all the iron I need in one day. My blood sometimes tests for anemia still but that is when Im on my period. Other than that I feel great.
