I just had a hysterectomy 6 days ago due to extreme pain from what we thought were fibroid tumors. Turns out it was andemetriosis or andymetriosis which I've never heard of and there's very little on the Internet about it. My doc said it's not endometriosis. He's indian and I had a hard enough time understanding his explanations. Can someone please explain what this condition is? Everyone tells me I'll feel so much better which I'm sure I will. Just want to know what was causing all my pain.

HI

I had this explained to me as when you are having your period instead of just reg bleeding you are also bleedng outward into the muscles and walls of the uterus. Not really fixable except to take bc to help with symptoms or to have surgery.
