I am 37 and have been in a loving relationship for 8 years. I have been losing my interest in sex for 6 years and now it is almost non existent. i have been to 2 doctors who have tested me for everything including testosterone and everything is normal. I have also been to a sex therapist but gave this up as I did not feel that it was treating the problem. My problem is physiological rather than psychological in that the desire to even masturbate is not there and even if I do I rarely get an erection as the animal desire is not there. That said I will wake up in the morning with a very strong erection. When I was younger a took a lot of ecstasy and smoked a lot of cannabis. So much so that I ended up with panic attacks which lead me to take Sipramil for to years. Now I am a healthy professional but I feel that my past activities have contributed to my problems. I also wondered was alcohol a factor but gave this up for a month recently with no improvement.

i dont know if i can help, but i'll try.
i had a high libido, what destroyed that is my high blood pressure medication. i used to take prozac and that killed it also.

but when my b/f touches me i'm fine, but my orgasms are mild.
your still young i dont understand why a sex therapist wouldnt hit all the reasons why a person would loose their sex drive.
but i wouldnt give up! i m a research person, i found out more things research vs. my doctor telling me things he shouldve.
i would research herbs you can take. you should also research sex dysfunction, that make lead to something else. but please dont give up.
