This pain could be due to the gallbladder disease (this type of pain starts from the upper right abdomen spreading to the shoulder and between the shoulder blades).
Usually, it lasts from a few minutes to two to three hours before getting better.
Often, it is accompanied with nausea and vomiting.
If this pain is like burning or gnawing pain, located in the upper abdomen or below the breastbone, and may be felt between the shoulder blades, too, can be suspected for the stomach ulcer.
Arrhythmias are common problems in hypertensive patients.
