21 and dead

Just this past Tuesday, we had one of the warmest days, almost beating the record. Our friend, was killed on his motorcycle. One of our employees sold him the motor cycle last year against his better judgement. It has been terrible around here. The guys don't want to work, and my husband walks around like a zombie. We have to pass by where the accident happened to get any place.
He leaves his parents who lived with him, not the other way around. He was building an addition on his home for him and his new wife. He worked full time during the day, cleaned offices at nite and volunteered as a fireman. He also loved SPEED. He wasn't happy unless he was tearing up the gears, whether it be a car or a motorcycle.
Please, please to all, drive carefully. You don't need to tear up the roads. Granted, it was a beautiful unseasonably warm day, and the thought of taking out the bike was a thrill. He left work at 5:30 and was dead 15 minutes later. They had our street blocked off and we never even gave it a thought that someone we know and care about is laying dead at the end of it. Tonite is the viewing. My husband has left already. He called to tell me he will be a while as the line to the funeral parlor is out the door. This young man did nothing wrong. He came up over the hill and was slammed into by a 27 year old DRUNK female. He was thrown 20 feet in the air. His cousin was behind him and saw the whole thing. I really don't know where i was going with this. Just to remind everyone to please slow down. Nothing is worth your life. Exept our children. We should never take things for granted, and try to be kind and understanding as we never know when we will leave this world leaving so many broken hearts behind.

I know how you feel

Hi! I lost a very close cousin and a best friend, both in car accidents within two years. I hate the feeling of not having any hope of seeing them again or being around them. I have dreams in which I tell them how much I miss them and how surprised and happy I am to see them and that they are BACK again (I dream as if they were gone but came back).
