My husband and I were having a great night of vigorous sex. He began to stimulate my anus with his finger, there was penetration of the finger. Soon thereafter, we noticed a fairly large blood spot on the sheet. After much examination of each of us, we think the blood came from my anus. There was no pain at the time and I didn't even realize that I had bled. The blood was very bright red and I am assuming from the information I have found on the internet that I may have a tear in the wall of my rectum.
My question is how do I proceed from here. I REALLY do not want to go see my normal doctor about this!!! My rectum feels slightly sore today but nothing I would say that is unusual after a good night of sex for us. When and if it becomes necessary to see a doctor, who should I see? What should I look for if there is any problems?

You would see a Proctologist for this...What would be concerning if the anal wall is penetrated is that feces could leak into your stomach cavity...This is very serious...If you keep bleeding have it checked out...Hopefully all will be well...
