Q: Anal sex risks

Iv'e been too embarressed to go to the doctors and tell them, and stupidly I have left it until now to ask as I am seriously worrying about my health.

Just over 2 years ago my ex partner forced himself onto me and was very rough with anal sex. I have been feeling bloated, constipated, weak, and numb ever since having troubles with my bowels.

I did go to the doctor not thinking anything of the anal sex (not knowing the risks) and complained of these symptoms and was told it could be IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)due to stress of the trouble I had been through with him, and recent events of that time. But recently, a few years on, I have been feeling very worried from reading about certain risks such as ruptures and things on the internet.

Now I am just sick and tired of not feeling myself anymore, as I have suffered for over 2 years and havent got the energy to exercize, feeling constantly fatigued, and I am only 19.
Please help me find out whats wrong, or some advice on where to go to get it checked, whether it would be at my GP or a sexual health clinic...

Would appreciate some help
Jemz

I'd suggest that you make an appt with a GI doctor (one who specializes in the digestive tract, beginning to end).

These doctors have seen and heard it all so there is nothing to worry about. They are there to pinpoint the issue and get the patient well as can be.

I would strongly advise you to make an appointment with a Proctologist immediately.....It is possible that you may have a rupture inside your colon...This would need to be taken care of....It is not something to fool around with....Good luck...
