Q: anal fistula

Hi, i just undergo my 6 surgical operations about anal fistula. After 2 days my anal was aching, hence i went to consult the surgeon. He the told me to my great surprise to stop doing the dressings as the medicines which they are applying are having a bad effect in my anal. So am frightened if the gap which i have become infected by do not do the dressings. Please help me out
