Anal bump. 14 year old embarrassed to see my doctor

Hey! So this is kind of an embarrassing topic, but i needed to seek help right away. I am a 14 year old female and I've recently woken up in the middle of the night from anal itching. Aggravated, I head to the bathroom to examine my anus and when I look there is this bump developed right on my anus,located closer to my vagina. The bump is soft and tender. according to a few website, they said it may not be a haemorrhoid but I'm not quite sure. I'm embarrassed to see my doctor (mostly because i've never had him look down there)
I'm worried and scared. please help!
