Hi,

I was going to the toilet today and i have been extremely constipated for the past few days, and i tried to get the... you know, out of my anus... Doing this i used a cotton bud with the cotton pulled off. During this process, i have actually done something to my rectal passage; im not sure if its a guy thing as they say "Cherry Popping..." im only 17 and i have never had anal sex; Im not sure if its that, or if its the fact i could have actually torn my rectal area.

Please help me ASAP.

I am worrying like mad, my first thought was... Oh god, im going to die...

Please please please help me! Sad

Really worried...

Thanks,

Daniel

As long as it's not major and you're not bleeding uncontrollably, you should be fine. The rectal area is very sensitive and doesn't have a lot of skin covering it. Since it is in a 'high traffic' area so to speak, it will take a long time to heal. Just make sure you stay clean. Also, if you are still constipated, try taking a stool softener to make it easier to have a bowel movement. Give it a week or two and you should be fine. If the problem persists, if you feel pain, discomfort or inflammation, go to a doctor.
