Q: Anal Bleeding - cystic fibrosis

i have a 16 year old dughter with cf, and for the past few days she has suffered with bleeding from the anus during bowel movements. the first was a little, the last alot! could this be connected to her cf, and if so, in what way?

Has your daughter's doctor been asked about this? Is the bleeding still occurring? It seems like it could be connected to the cf, if it is a prolapsed rectum, or it could be something unrelated. I would suggest a follow-up with your doctor and possibly an endoscopy. Let us know how it turned out!
