Q: anal abscess

i have had 3 small pee sized lumps around my anus and they sometimes leak genital mistook them as piles for 2 years but recently went to my doctor who sais they are abscess and she is referring me to a consultant. there is a 4 months waiting time and i am i pain after defecation for 4 to 5 hours and then the pain is gone for next bowel movements. i am in pain, i did not loose any weight, or have diarrihia or fever. please help me what to do ..i am very upset and feeling constantly what will happen

You could try a warm bath after a bowel movement and take a mild pain reliever such as tylenol to ease the pain. You could also use a stool softener or laxative so your bowel movements do not hurt quite as much.
