Since August of last year I have only had one period. I turned 40 in September. I have being doing a lot of scuba diving and wonder if this could have anything to do with it? I am currently in a very remote part of the world and to go to see a doctor is not really possible for another two months. Should I be concerned, or is it natural for my age? Advice appreciated.

It is only normal if you are going through menopause now.

The other fairly common thing that can cause this are ovarian cysts (PCOS). If you can get hold of birth control pills, I suggest you take that until you can get to your doctor.

Take care!
