I really don't want to go back on the pill, but the acne is taking a toll on my self esteem... I'd appreciate any insight!

- prescribed Diane 35 (birth control) at 14 yoa to manage bad acne
- saw significant improvements
- went off the pill in May of 2008 after ~10 years of taking it
- in the year that followed, I changed my lifestyle significantly (eat healthier, exercise regularly) and lost about 20 lbs.
- have not gotten my period since going off the pill (almost a year now)
- started experiencing frequent breakouts about 6 months after stopping the pill (October of 2008), mainly around the mouth and chin
- I'm 5'9", 135 lbs., non-smoker, traditionally low blood pressure
- no medical conditions, although my mother was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism

no period
I had a very similar senario with stopping the pill, losing weight due to healthier eating and my period stopping. It's been a year now and I have been working on gaining back some weight over the past 6 months(doctor's suggestion) but no sign of period returning. Any advice is appreciated.
