My girlfriend got drunk at a party on the evening of 28th february/ (early morning of 1st March) and is pretty certain she had unprotected sex with someone else but cant remember for sure (but the guy has told her), she then came on her period on March 3rd, but she said she was feeling quite tired for the next 2 weeks. My girlfriend and I then had unprotected sex on march 16th. Her menstrual cycle is 28days. She did a pregnancy test the day after we had sex, and it came out negative, she then did a clearblue digital one on March 27th and it was negative, she also did another clearblue digital one on March 30th and that was negative too, this would be around the time she was due on her next period, she did another 2 normal line test ones on March 31st and they came out faintly positive.

Can someone please help me to find out if I am the father, obviously I don't want to do a DNA test 9 months down the line. So is it possible for her to have gotten pregnant a few days before her period, how accurate would the ovulation tests be? Help me!!

u say she came on her period after having sex with this guy? so heres my opinion..

as ur g/f was due on her period around the 30th of march and u had sex on the 16th its likely ur the father..

she would ovulate 14days BEFORE HER NEXT PERIOD WAS DUE, so the 15/16th march, and thats right where u had sex right? so it wud seem a high chance ur the father.

also if she had a period,how long was she on hr period for? ask her was it like a normal period??

if ur unsure get her to go to the doctors for a pregnancy test

she said she was on it for 5 days, and it sort of stopped on about the 4th day and started again on the 5th day - but she said she usually is about 7 or 8 days but she was quite stressed and had been drinking quite heavily the weekend before (it was her birthday) so the irregularity might have been caused by this?

yes the irregularity could have been caused by that..i think as she had her priod after sleeping with that guy then its unlikely hes the father, as she seems to have ovulated around the time u2 slept together.. still go doctors for a pregnancy test though..and if ur still unsure do a dna...i hope it all works out for u both xxx

Im not gonna say im 100% positive but I agree with "kmiller". The ovulation time is a good way to determine this. Not only that...but considering how long it took for the hormones to show up on the pregnancy test also gives you some answers. It takes about 2 weeks after implantation for the hormones to read. If she did get pregnant by the guy from the party....the test would have read positive right away on the first test. Relax...and if your still not sure....theres only one way to find out...and thats the DNA test. Good luck!

hey maggie wonderin if i could have ur advice plz..im 2weeks late tomorow.iv done 2test negative, getting results of a blood test on monday..FINGERS CROSSED ITS POSSITIVE..
i have sore boobs for 2weeks although there not really sore now, just larger, larger nipples and more visable vains..have lower back ache,and slight cramping, its not painfull at all.. 29th and 30th march i had blood when i wiped after the loo thats all.. i dnt ever have crapms or anything before a period.. i read that sum women had neg tests coz there wasnt enuf hormone to trigger a possitive..shes 10 weeks now!!

my girlfriend just started bleeding tonight, she phoned me up and told me that she thinks she is having a miscarriage, so she is going to the hospital right now Sad

she lives 40 miles away from me, I said to her i'll come with her but she said that she is ok and for me not to worry.

well she just called me after going the hospital and it turns out she has miscarried. the doctor also told her it was 4 weeks since conception which means it wasn't mine Sad

and that the miscarriage was stress related. I feel so guilty as I feel alot of the stress caused was down to me. Sad
