Q: Am I pregnant?

I am 39 years old and I have two teenagers. One 17 and one 19. I have miscarried twins in the past, but it was due to an emergency laparascopy. I was 25 years old when it happened.

I have normal periods. My cycle is 22-28 days....always. I'm on birth control. I don't remember what it feels like to BE pregnant much less miss a period. So I have unprotected sex 2 days AFTER my period is over.(17th) My period ended on the 15th of August. By the 20th of August, my nipples are sore, and I'm cramping. No problem, I understand sex will do that.

So now it's September and I've calculated that I should start somewhere between the 8th and the week of the 13th. In the meantime, I'm having all the symptoms of a period. Sore breasts, cramping like my period should be here any minute, but been feeling like that for a week already...not much bloating, i normally bloat like crazy,.alot of peeing.... no period. I am nervous. Am I pregnant or just stressed?
Anyone felt this way?
I welcome the community, but would love to get a doctor's opinion as well.

Thank you,.

It's only the 13th. Don't stress until you've actually missed your period. Once you do, take a home pregnancy test. I hope it turns out the way you want it too. Good-luck!

Thank you so much Wendy. The only thing that's throwing me off is the sore nipples. Going to get a preg test soon. Time to end the suspense.
A baby is a blessing. Truly is. IF I am..just have to make sure I'm ready. If not...the opportunity arises, I will be,and it will give me better time to prepare.
